scope:

Use/Relationship: The Contractor's Data Management Plan (CDMP) describes the structured Contractor approach and proposed plan for data management (DM) throughout the structured lifecycle. To include, but not limited to: Management, organization, planning, assignment of functions, duties and responsibilities, procedures and policies, and reporting requirements for the conduct of contractuallyimposed tasks, projects or programs that apply to the management of data.

a. This Data Item Description (DID) shall be used in contracts when delivery of a CDMP is required by the Government.

b. This DID contains the format, content, and intended use information for the data deliverable resulting from the work task described in the solicitation.
