This Recommendation establishes guidelines and presents recommendations for the development of extended producer responsibility (EPR) polices for sustainable e-waste management.

This Recommendation suggests some supplementary measures and points that support the adoption of EPR polices. It also presents different models of EPR polices adopted by Europe and other developed countries that could be used as a basis for developing countries to build upon.
