Bu standard, dusuk duzeydeki ditiyokarbamat ve tiuram disulfurmantar olduruculeri (fungisitleri) kalintilarinin ksantogenatolarak tayin icin bir UV spektrometrik yontemi kapsar. Ditiyokarbamat ve tiuram disukfur mantar olduruculer, belirli sartlaraltinda karbon disulfur aciga cikarirlar (ornegin, mankozeb, maneb,probineb, thiram, zineb). Bu standard, ozellikle dusuk en yuksekkalinti duzeylerinin belirlendigi bitki kokenli gidalarin icindeveya uzerinde bulunan bu tur bilesiklere uygulanir. Bu yontemkullanilarak tek bilesenlerin tanimlanmasi mumkun olmayip yalnizcabu grubun tamaminin nicel tayini mumkundur. En yuksek kalintiduzeyleri (MRL' ler), genel olarak karbon disulfur cinsinden ifadeedilir.
