Purpose.

Dynamic testing of luggage retention. The purpose of this test procedure is to determine if the seat system (front and rear seats) meets the requirements of:

• ECE R 17.07, 5.15ff published August 2002.

• DIN 75410-2 (Appendix A).

• In house specification (Appendix B).

Foreword.

The purpose of the dynamic test of luggage retention is to estimate if the seating system of a car meets the legal requirements concerning the retention of loose luggage in the luggage compartment and on folded seats.

Applicability.

For all front and rear seats, including all possible load floor heights.
