The mandatory requirements set out in this standard are those basic requirements needed for the design and development of airworthy UAV Systems for all three UK Armed Services. b.
At present this standard does not cover the following:
unmanned dirigibles;
aircraft (with a previously issued Design Certificate and a Military Aircraft Release) that have been converted from a manned to an unmanned role.
