This specification details the requirements of waterborne sprayable sound damper.
The purpose of this material is to reduce vehicle metal noise vibrations excited by engine, tires, transmission and stone impingement.
The material is applied in the paint shop after electrocoat and must be capable of robotic application.
The material must be compatible with electrocoat, sealer, primer surfacer, topcoat and interior component systems.
