PURPOSE. As prescribed in reference (a), this Instruction establishes the Sharp Coastie Award "SHARP" program to provide special recognition to those Coast Guard personnel (Civilian, Auxiliary, Reserve and Regular) who have demonstrated significant results in Workload Management.
