PURPOSE

This Marshall Procedural Requirement (MPR) establishes procedures for organizing, staffing, planning, conducting, and responding to internal audits. These internal audits encompass all activities, processes, and documents that form a part of the Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) Management System necessary to comply with MPD 1280.1, "Marshall Quality Management System Manual," MPR 8500.2 "MSFC Environmental Management System Manual," International Standardization Organization (ISO) 9001, AS 9100, and ISO 14001.

APPLICABILITY

This MPR applies to the personnel, programs, projects, and activities at MSFC and MSFC's Michoud Assembly Facility, including contractors and resident agencies to the extent specified in their respective contracts or agreements. ("Contractors," for purposes of this paragraph, include contractors, grantees, Cooperative Agreement recipients, Space Act Agreement partners, or other agreement parties.)
