APPLICABILITY. This Instruction applies to all Coast Guard offices and activities involved with the acquisition, planning and management of the support of platforms, systems, and equipment. This Instruction shall be used as a guide for EILSP development and management, and as a reference for EILSP format and content.
PURPOSE. This Instruction establishes the policy, management responsibility, and defines requirements for development of an Equipment/Systems Integrated Logistics Support Plan (EILSP) and Equipment Support Sheet (ESS) for Coast Guard systems and equipment.
