PURPOSE. To provide guidelines for aircraft employment to operational commanders and planning staffs. Enclosure (1) provides a derivation of the standards and definitions of the terms used. Enclosure (2) lists the standards as they are applied to each Air Station. Enclosure (3) gives examples of how the standards are applied to various situations.
