PURPOSE. The purpose of this Notice is to promulgate information and procedures regarding applications for the Sobel Endowment Fund Schlorship for dependent children of U. S. Coast Guard enlisted personnel on active duty, retired, or deceased; or Coast Guard Reservists on extended active duty. This Instruction also replaces all previous COMDTNOTES about this scholarship.
