This European Telecommunication Standard (ETS) contains the signalling aspects of the Base Station System for GSM. The set of signalling tests cover major areas of functionality on the air, Abis and A-interfaces, but is not designed to be a complete set of all the possible scenarios. The tests were designed from the set of core specifications that exist for the GSM network and any changes that occur these specifications will be reflected in the test set documented within.
