scope:
PURPOSE. This Instruction establishes policies and procedures for the management and administration of aviation career incentive pay (ACIP) and hazardous duty incentive pay (HDIP) for Coast Guard members assigned duties involving aerial flight. This Instruction is intended for use by personnel involved in the management and administration of aviation incentive pays for Coast Guard members and U.S. Public Health Service officers assigned as Coast Guard flight surgeons.
