This specification is intended to cover ordinary strength and low alloy steel flux cored welding electrodes capable of depositing radiographic quality weld metal that in the as-welded and stress-relieved condition meets the mechanical properties given herein when welded on ordinary or higher strength steels using the flux cored arc welding process and the welding procedures specified in the notes to Figure 1. Uses of the various electrodes covered by this specification are summarized in Table VI.
