scope:

This CID covers the general requirements for a family of metal card guides, known as card holders, low profile, open ended, with flared entry, with 2 offset (side) mounting holes, and with a controlled minimum inside bend radius intended for use to guide and hold circuit card assemblies into their installed positions and to assist in controlling spring holding breakage while clamping circuit card assemblies during moderate vibration and heat transfer. Items covered by this CID are intended for all federal agencies applications and environments.
