AIM

The aim of this agreement is to establish guidelines for an immediate accident/mishap response (A/MR) plan for aircraft operating in the maritime environment. Effective A/MR can only be achieved if all parties have a clear understanding of the priorities and aims of A/MR. The initial response (first 24 hours) and the preservation of available evidence will be crucial to the success of a subsequent investigation.
