scope:
DS 409 lays down the principles and requirements for the safety, function and durability of building constructions, describes the basis for design and gives rules for other areas in relation to the safety of the loadcarrying structures. DS 409 is to be used in co-operation with the other design codes, including geotechnical aspects, fire, earthquake, erection and the design of temporary structures.
