Determination of total sulphur content of hard coal, brown c oal, lignite and coke by Eschka method. Sample is ignited it contact with Eschka mixture in oxidizin g atmosphere, to remove combustible matter and convert sulph ur to sulphate. This is extracted and determined by 1) gravi metric method, or 2) titrimetric method.
