Purpose.
To provide direction to field commanders on the use of subject guide. A Guide for Multiple Use Waterway Management (Guide), was developed to provide a user friendly document that illustrates a process by which waterway management issues can be addressed by partners and stakeholders in an analogous manner. This planning and management Guide is used by selected agencies and organizations (federal, state, local, volunteer, and international) which have responsibility for ensuring the safe and efficient use of waterways within their respective jurisdiction(s).
