This document is restricted to the scope of services and logical domains identified in ATIS 0800002, IPTV Architecture Requirements.

Purpose

The IPTV requirements document sets out a large scope of services and functionality required for a broad range of IPTV services. This broad scope of IPTV services and functionality cannot be well standardized in a single document, nor is it entirely static. The Roadmap provides an industry consensus perspective on the prioritization and scoping of the specification development efforts of the IIF. The objective is to use this Roadmap to help develop the rationale to support the initial set of more detailed issue statements that will drive the development of the architecture specifications.
