This Technical Report contains information relevant to the operation of the Bearer Independent Call Control (BICC) protocol[1], with the DSS2[4] signalling protocol used for the control of AAL type 1 bearer connections.
Information which is relevant to be passed between the BICC[1] signalling entity and the DSS2[4] signalling entity is identified. The dashed box of Figure 1 shows the scope of this report. Interaction with layer management is outside the scope of this report.
