inactive
Organization: DS
Publication Date: 29 August 2001
Status: inactive
Page Count: 81
ICS Code (Occupational safety. Industrial hygiene): 13.100
scope:

This publication is a translation of OHSAS 18001 and OHSAS 18002. OHSAS 18001 has been developed with the intent of using it with ISO 9001:1994 and ISO 14001:1996. OHSAS 18002 seeks to explain the underlying principles of OHSAS 18001. It describes the intent, typical inputs, processes and typical outputs, against each requirement of OHSAS 18001, to aid in the understanding and implementation of OHSAS 18001. It does not create additional requirements to those specified in OHSAS 18001 nor does it prescribe mandatory approaches to the implementation of OHSAS 18001. It is intended to address occupational health and safety (OH&S) rather than product and services safety.
