scope:
This supplement to ATC-105 covers the determination of the thermal capability of mechanical draft, Closed Circuit Cooling Towers of both the forced and induced draft types. Its application is limited to the sensible cooling of water, waterlglycol mixtures, and other homogeneous, single phase Process Fluids for which mutually acceptable physical property data are available to the parties to the test, prior to the test. This standard does not apply to two-phase flow applications.
