Purpose.
This instruction establishes policies and procedures for managing Joint Staff-sponsored studies.
Applicability.
This instruction applies to all Joint Staff directorates and activities that develop study proposals and seek funding managed by the Director, Force Structure, Resources, and Assessment (DJ-8). This includes OSD-funded Joint Staff studies.
