ESDU 80005 provides evaluated tabulated data and equations for the surface tension of water that are in agreement with the current International Formulation and are for use especially in heat transfer and fluid flow calculations in the design of chemical plant and steam turbines, boilers and other mechanical engineering equipment. The values are given for temperatures from triple point to critical point along the saturation line.
