scope:
For electricity or compressed air supplies, this Standard applies to:
all LU and Infraco properties and areas leased to third parties that are supplied from the Power Services Contractor or Distribution Network Operator (DNO) systems or via the Infraco's System;
the Powerlink or DNO supplies and approval in no way indicates that the Infraco system is capable of supporting the modified load;
all staff, their Managers and Supervisors, including staff contracted to the Infracos, requiring new or modified power or compressed air loads or circuits;
private sector companies working on behalf of the Infracos requiring new or modified power and compressed air loads or circuits;
the following supplies provided from Powerlink's System, a comprehensive list of which is given in Standard 1-105:
630V d.c. supplies;
400V a.c. three-phase and neutral and 230V a.c. single-phase supplies;
440V and 600V a.c. supplies for signalling (including non-50Hz supplies);
low voltage d.c. supplies;
Local Emergency Power Supply (LEPS) systems specified in 1-105;
compressed air supplies specified in 1-105;
the 11kV a.c. supply (Docklands Light Railway only); and
the connection of loads or equipment to electrical supplies provided by any DNO.
For gas or water supplies, this Standard applies to the Utility Supplier's Delivery Points and approval in no way indicates that the Infraco system is capable of supporting the modified load.
This Standard does not apply to load changes which take place as part of the "day-today" switching operations on the Powerlink and Infraco systems.
This standard replaces 2-01029-001 A1. The Standard has been re formatted and renumbered. There were no technical changes.
Purpose
The Standard defines the requirements and process to be followed for the connection or disconnection of electrical loads, compressed air, gas and water supplies.
