GENERAL

This document has been developed to provide the operations personnel of the Access Service Providers (ASP) and Access Service Customers (ASC) with general procedures for the installation and maintenance of Special Access Services, and WATS Access Lines and Switched Access Services Feature Group "A". The contents of this document are generic. Specific operational procedures are covered in documentation provided by the ASP(s) and ASC(s). This document does not replace nor supersede tariffs, contracts or any other legally binding documents. In addition to other operational and technical agreements made at the Network Interconnection Interoperability Forum (NIIF), this document is being reissued to incorporate the following changes:

• Standardization of the Issue Number and publication date to agree with other sections of the NIIF Reference Document.

The Installation, Testing and Maintenance of facilities that are utilized for the transport of all Special Access and Feature Group A services is covered in the Facilities Document.
