INTRODUCTION

All CAD models shall be created at full size, (i.e., one drawing unit of the CAD system used will equal one unit of base measuring system).

NOTE: In order to fit full size CAD models on the drawing formats, it may be necessary to create scaled-down viewing areas in the drafting mode of the CAD System. Examples of this technique are "View Ports" in AutoCAD or "View at a Scale" in IDEAS. The term scale is in reference to these viewing areas, and will be denoted in the "SCALE" region of the title block.

Drawings created manually must be accurately drawn to scale and, as a general rule, drawn full size.
