This specification covers construction, material, finish requirements, welding, design guidelines, tolerances, workmanship standards, and quality control and source approval for six different types of exhaust tubing.
Restricted Chemical Substances
Effective JANUARY 1, 2007, all product supplied to the requirements of this specification must comply with the requirements of CEMS B-50.
APPLICATION
This specification covers single wall steel tubing used in exhaust systems with formed, beaded, or straight ends, and applies to tubing 1.625 to 7.00 inches in diameter. For requirements on double wall steel tubing, refer to TMS-1070.
