This specification defines the performance requirements of production parts made by bonding substrates such as Xenoy, Bexloy or Structural Reaction Injection Molded (SRIM). Requirements for parts for interior applications (Type I) and exterior applications (Type II) vary and are noted by Type designations where necessary.

Material Description. This specification does not address performance requirements for Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) substrates, such as Sheet Molding Compound (SMC). For those applications, see GMW16185.
