The scope of this document is to include SS7 Cause Code Treatment, Definitions for Usage and Announcement verbiage to be applied where applicable and the appropriate mapping of cause codes as they traverse the network.
PURPOSE OF DOCUMENT
The purpose of this document is to provide a single source for definitions of application of Cause Codes with the associated treatment, and the appropriate verbiage to be played to the customer where an announcement is required.
This document does not replace or supersede any existing Contracts, tariffs or any other legally binding document.
