Purpose. To determine whether condensation forms on the outside of the Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Module, related air ducts, portions of the Instrument Panel or the Floor Console (if applicable).
Foreword. Condensate formed outside HVAC module, Air Conditioning (A/C) ducts, or the Instrument Panel can drip on top of or enter other components producing improper function or undesirable humidity conditions. Condensate may also drip onto passengers' lower legs or feet unexpectedly, dissatisfying the occupant.
Applicability. For all passenger vehicle with A/C systems.
