This synthetic perspiration solution is equivalent to the Number 2 test solution of DIN V 53160-2.
Material Description. An aqueous solution of salts as given in Paragraph 3.1.

Typical Application. For testing the perspiration resistance of alloys, elastomers, plastics, adhesives, etc. which, inservice, come into contact with perspiration. The method of use of the synthetic solution shall be as given in the aporopriate material specification, test method or test specification.
