scope:

This specification covers the general requirements for flexible, branched and non-branched, multi-conductor cable assemblies (see 6.4.3) and harness assemblies (see 6.4.9) used in missile systems.

Cable assemblies and harness assemblies shall be of the following types, as specified (see 6.2):

Type I - Interior ground Support cable assemblies, jacketed Type II - Exterior ground support cable assemblies, jacketed Type III - Missile harness assemblies Type IV - Missile cable assemblies (including umbilical cable).

intended Use:

The cables and harness assemblies described in this specification are intended for use in missiles and missile ground support equipment.
