scope:

This International Standard specifies a method for the determination of selected non-polar substances (see Table 1) in drinking water and ground water in mass concentrations above 0,005 ìg/l and surface water and waste water in mass concentrations above 0,01 ìg/l (for each single compound). This method may be applicable to substances not mentioned in Table 1. However it is necessary to verify the applicability of this method for these compounds.
