This specification covers the general requirements for color, roll length where applicable, adhesive backing if required, and colorfastness. Also included are the individual characteristics for one style (I) of tape. [Other styles may be added to this specification if required.]

Restricted Chemical Substances

Effective January 1, 2007, all product supplied to the requirements of this specification must comply with the requirements of the CEMS B-50 specification.

APPLICATION

This specification covers synthetic fastener tapes or pads used for truck cab interiors. Various styles of fastener systems are available and attachment may be achieved by sewing, mechanically, or by adhesive coatings.
