This standard identifies the minimum job performance requirements for the airport fire fighter who is responsible for aircraft rescue and fire fighting.

Purpose.

The purpose of this standard is to specify the minimum job performance requirements for service as an airport fire fighter.

It is not the intent of this standard to restrict any jurisdiction from exceeding these minimum requirements.
