scope:

This instruction applies to all NAVAIR civilian and military personnel including Program Executive Office (PEO) personnel.

Purpose.

To establish an awards program, as authorized by reference (a), within the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), that recognizes contributions to the Small Business Program at each site/business unit and national levels. The primary goals of this program are to serve as an incentive to the workforce to promote, practice, and uphold the principles of the Command's Small Business Program (reference (b)), and to ensure that their efforts are appropriately recognized.
