The vacuum servicing units will provide the capability to evacuate the power reactant storage and distribution (PRSD) tanks and relief line. The unit provides a place for GN2 to accumulate, and an ignition source to ignite these gases. Loss of GN2 purge to the vacuum servicing unit could result in fire or explosion leading to flight hardware damage or injury to personnel.
