Definitions

"The Authority" means the Secretary of State for Defence or any person duly authorised to act for him for the purpose of this Contract.

"A passenger" means any person carried in the aircraft other than the crew (including supernumerary crew).

A "round trip" is a flight with passengers and/o_r cargo in both directions.

A "one-way flight" is a flight carrying passengers and/or cargo in one direction only. The alrcraft will fly empty in the other direction but will remain at the disposal of the Authority. (See also Condition 3.c.)
