Description of Driving Event:

An electric power off (EPO) button for computers was located in a room that required a button to be pushed to exit the room. An individual mistook the EPO button for an exit button and inadvertently cut off the power to the computers in the room. Had this happened during a flight or critical simulation a great deal of data and monitoring could have been lost.
