Lessons Learned – SEASAT-A Synthetic Aperture Radar Coherent Leakage (1978)

active, Most Current
Organization: NASA
Publication Date: 8 July 1996
Status: active
Page Count: 3
scope:

Abstract:

The SEASAT-A Synthetic Aperture Radar system end-to-end gain was instable due RF leakage that varied with the sensor gain state and with temperature. Use of prototype models and diagnostic RF system analysis and modeling are effective in identifying microwave design susceptibilities to RF leakage.
