Description of Driving Event:

The configuration of the portable hypergol checkout panels located on platforms 6E and 6W in the OPF restricts personnel working in the area from egressing to a safe area. The checkout panels (four per high bay; two per platform) have flexhoses and electrical cables that become entangled and cannot easily be maintained in an orderly arrangement. The flexhoses and cables also present a tripping hazard and further hinder emergency egress from the platforms. Additionally, these flexhoses leak and are more prone to failure because of their tendency to kink and twist in this configuration.
