Description of Driving Event:

A number of process improvement observations/recommendations were made following the Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite (GOES) Advance Baseline Imager (ABI) Formulation Phase Source Evaluation Board Proposal review process. The lessons learned recommendations (2) were formulated through direct GOES ABI SEB experience. These recommendations (lessons learned format) are aimed at minimizing biases and facilitating a more uniform and equitable approach within the proposal review process.
