Description of Driving Event:
The Program cost and responsibilities were split 50/50 between the Government and the Contractor. This arrangement reflected the interest that each party had; the Government was interested in integrating several new technologies into a flight demonstration vehicle while the Contractor was interested in showcasing its rapid prototyping capabilities. These complimentary interests ensured each party maintained their commitments and mutual support.
