The use of thrust for circulator fan performance has been criticized because it is not a commonly accepted metric for performance. Users are generally accustomed to volumetric airflow rate as the key indicator. John Cermak and I have prepared a WD which offers a relationship between the measured thrust and airflow rate. This should encourage wider acceptance of the standard.
