INTRODUCTION

All parts are produced using materials that interface with other parts, installers and service technicians. Materials and processes used to manufacture the design intent of the part are identified on Product and manufacturing drawings, providing Ford a complete understanding of the goods it is purchasing and manufacturing.

For Product Engineering drawings, notes or drawing callouts containing the part or an assembly's vehicle usage is not permitted on the field of the drawing.
