Description of Driving Event:
During the construction of a Mod and Rehab project an unforeseen field condition was encountered when an abandoned piece of ductwork insulated with asbestos was found. Prior to construction, in the design phase, an environmental investigation was conducted and the contract drawings were marked up accordingly to what environmental hazards were found.
