This test method shall apply to the material capable of covering the trim sheet, head rest, door trim or head lining etc. of automotive upholstery material.
PURPOSE
The purpose of this standard is to determine the resistance to tearing of trim materials such as leather cloths, textiles, plastic films etc. applied to the upholstery material of the automobile.
