This standard shall apply to the evaluation of the oxidation stability of petroleum products by comparison with kinematic viscosity after oxidized at high temperature with the catalysts of iron and copper, and oxygen.
PURPOSE
This standard specifies the test method for oxidation stability of gasoline, turbine oils, lubricating greases for internal conversion engine and similar petroleum products.
